• The Tribal Council meetings are intended to be safe venues in which Tribal members, community members and guests can share their ideas,  thoughts, and concerns. Please be courteous and respectful to all speakers.
• Official recordings of Council meetings (indicating whether or not they have been edited) will be available to Tribal members from the Council's  Executive Coordinator for $5 each.  Except for official recordings made by the Tribe, no audio or video recording of Council meetings will be   permitted.

1. Items of Consent from the Legislative Action Committee
a. GSA Travel Card for Member Health Care - resolution
Date:  06-10-14 Present: 5 of 9 Recommendation: 5 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution authorizing the use of a Tribal GSA credit card by the Procurement Manager to pay  for preapproved airfare and hotel expenses for Tribal members while receiving health care services outside the State of Oregon, subject to the  Tribe's credit card policy.

b. Tribal Council COLA Increase for 2014 - resolution
Date: 06-10-14  Present: 5 of 9 Recommendation: 5 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution that approves a 2.1% cost of living adjustment to Tribal Council member  compensation retroactive to January 01, 2014.

c. MSPI Grant Application - resolution Date:  06-10-14 Present: 5 of 9 Recommendation: 5 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution:  1) approving the Tribe's application for $126,571.43 in Indian Health Service  Methamphetamine and Suicide Prevention Initiative funding; and 2) approving the Tribe's covering the $34, 991 in indirect cost on this funding  from Tribal funds.

d. Emergency Management Performance Grant Application - resolution
Date: 06-10-14  Present: 5 of 9 Recommendation: 5 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution:  1) approving the Tribe's application for a $62,500 State of Oregon Emergency  Management Performance Grant; 2) providing the required $62,500 cash match from Tribal funds; and 3) covering the $21,043 unpaid indirect cost  on this application from Tribal funds.

e. Committee Appointments - resolution

Culture Committee:
1. The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution appointing Sarah Ross, with term ending March 31, 2016, to the Culture Committee.
2. The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution appointing Eirik Thorsgard as an honorary member, with term ending March 31,  2016, to the Culture Committee.

Timber Committee:
1. The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution appointing Mel Holmes, with term ending March 31, 2016, to the Timber Committee.
2. The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution appointing Shonn Leno, with term ending March 31, 2016, to the Timber Committee.


f. SMGI Board of Directors Re-Appointments:
Date:  06-10-14 Present:  5 of 9 Recommendation:  5 yes
1. The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution re-appointing April Campbell to the SMGI Board of Directors, for a three-year  term ending June 30, 2017.
2. The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution re-appointing Reynold L. Leno to the SMGI Board of Directors, for a three-year  term ending June 30, 2017.
3. The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution re-appointing Wink Soderberg to the SMGI Board of Directors, for a three-year  term ending June 30, 2017.

g. ROW Logging Unit Timber Sale - resolution
 Date: 06-10-14   Present: 5 of 9 Recommendation: 5 yes
 The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving the 2014 ROW Logging Unit timber sale as presented by Natural Resources  staff and detailed in the attached Tribal Resolution.

g. Employment Action Review Ordinance Amendments - resolution
 Date: 06-10-14  Present: 5 of 9 Recommendation: 5 yes
 The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving the proposed amendments to the Employment Action Review Ordinance.

2. Legislative Action Committee
a. Enrollment Infant Determinations - resolution
 Date:  06-10-14 Present: 5 of 9 Recommendation: 5 yes
 The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving three (3) infants numbered #6240 through #6242 for Tribal membership,  because, based on the investigation and recommendation of the Enrollment staff, the infants have been found to meet the eligibility requirements  for enrollment as defined in the Tribal Constitution and Enrollment Ordinance.

b. Enrollment Non-Infant Determinations - resolution
 Date:  06-10-14 Present: 5 of 9 Recommendation: 5 yes
 The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving the Tribal membership of individuals numbered #6243 through #6248,  because, based on the recommendation of the Enrollment Committee, the individuals meet the requirements of the Tribal Constitution and  Enrollment Ordinance.
