• The Tribal Council meetings are intended to be safe venues in which Tribal members, community members and guests can share their ideas, thoughts, and concerns. Please  be courteous and respectful to all speakers.
• Official recordings of Council meetings (indicating whether or not they have been edited) will be made available to Grand Ronde Tribal members upon request.  Members  are asked to contact Tribal Council’s Chief of Staff to obtain meeting recording/filming at a cost of $5 each.  Except for official recordings made by the Tribe, no  photos, audio or video recording of Council meetings will be permitted.

1. Items of Consent from the Legislative Action Committee
a. Removal & Appointment of Authorized Signers for TriState Capital Bank Line of Credit – resolution
Date: 10-04-16  Present: 9 of 9  Recommendations: 9 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution:  1) removing Jack Giffen, Jr. as an authorized signer; and 2) appointing Jon A. George as an authorized signer for the TriState Capital Bank line of credit.

b. 2017 Indian Housing Plan – resolution
Date: 10-04-16  Present: 9 of 9  Recommendations: 9 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution to approve the Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Department’s submission of the 2017 Indian Housing Plan (IHP) and for the Tribal Chairman, or the Vice-Chairwoman in his absence, to execute the required Housing and Urban Development (HUD) certification for the submission of the 201 Indian Housing Plan to HUD Office of Native American Programs.

c. Tribal Building Official Appointment – resolution
Date: 10-11-16  Present: 5 of 9  Recommendations: 5 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution appointing David Willard of Clair Company as the Tribal Building Official for the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon

2. Legislative Action Committee
a. Enrollment Infant Determinations – resolution
Date: 10-11-16  Present: 5 of 9  Recommendations: 5 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving three (3) infants numbered #6424 through #6426 for Tribal membership, because, based on the investigation and recommendation of the Enrollment staff, the infants have been found to meet the eligibility requirements for enrollment as defined in the Tribal Constitution and Enrollment Ordinance.
