“Darkness to Light: End Child Sexual Abuse” will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, April 29, in Youth Education Building’s Room 126.
The “Stewards of Children” training program helps adults prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

"Making a Tillamook-style Canoe Paddle" will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 9-11, in the Grand Ronde Carving Shed at the entrance to the Tribal powwow grounds off Hobo Road. Participants will learn the basics of canoe paddle making, including basic hand tool use, finishes and paddle dynamics. - Elders' Fishing Trip(3)
The annual Fish and Wildlife Committee Elders’ Fishing Trip and Picnic will be held on Thursday, May 16, at Henry Haag Lake near Forest Grove.
Vans will leave the Elders’ Activity Center at 8 a.m. for this rain-or-shine event. Transportation, fishing gear and a meal will be provided.
A Tribal fishing license is required. It can be acquired by contacting the Tribal Natural Resources Department at 503-879-2424.
Food will include hamburgers, hot dogs and a picnic-style luncheon.

Family Movie Night will be showing “Rise of the Guardians” at 6 p.m. Friday, May 17, in the Tribal gym.
Desserts, snacks, water and juices will be served and there will be three door prizes. The event, sponsored by the Youth Prevention and Youth Education departments and Community Awareness Team, is non-smoking.
