- Tyee Nature Reserve dedication
Dedication of the Tyee Nature Reserve next to the Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority Office will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31. The dedication ceremony will feature Tribal drumming, craft demonstrations and light refreshments. The reserve is a collaborative effort between the Tribe's Natural Resources and Land and Culture departments and the Institute for Applied Ecology. - Renewing Spirits luncheon
A Native American Women Against Assault/Sexual Assault luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, June 17, at the Elders’ Activity Center.
The luncheon will bring assault/sexual assault awareness to the Tribal community and its neighbors. One in three Native American women are assaulted in their lifetime and 60 percent of those assaults go unreported.
Guest speaker will be Rose M. Quilt and there will be several door prizes. Lunch will be provided.

- Veterans Royalty meeting
A Veterans Royalty meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the Tribal Community Center for all girls ages 8 to 18.
The Veterans Special Event Board will be giving out instructions and applications to girls who want to run for Veterans Queen 2013-14.
Parents and/or sponsors of girls running for Veterans Royalty should attend as well.

- Positive Indian Parenting
Positive Indian Parenting, a four-week class, will begin Monday, June 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Tribal Community Center. The class is designed to help parents, caretakers of youth, aunts, uncles and grandparents raise their youth in a positive and healthy manner.
