• The Tribal Council meetings are intended to be safe venues in which Tribal members, community  members and guests can share their ideas, thoughts, and concerns. Please be courteous and  respectful to all speakers.
• Official recordings of Council meetings (indicating whether or not they have been edited) will be  made available to Grand Ronde Tribal members upon request.  Members are asked to contact Tribal  Council’s Chief of Staff to obtain meeting recording/filming at a cost of $5 each.  Except for  official recordings made by the Tribe, no photos, audio or video recording of Council meetings  will be permitted.

1. Items of Consent from the Legislative Action Committee
a. Head Start & Early Head Start Five Year Grant Application – resolution
Date: 09-15-15  Present:  7 of 9 Recommendation: 7 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution: 1) approving the Tribe’s  application to the Administration for Children and Families Office of Head Start for $337,795 in  Head Start funding and $321,072 in Early Head Start funding; 2) providing the required 20% cost  share in matching funds for this grant including $89,449 for Head Start and $80,268 for Early Head  Start; and 3) covering the indirect cost on this federal grant funding.
