• The Tribal Council meetings are intended to be safe venues in which Tribal members, community members and guests can share their ideas, thoughts, and concerns. Please  be courteous and respectful to all speakers.
• Official recordings of Council meetings (indicating whether or not they have been edited) will be made available to Grand Ronde Tribal members upon request.  Members  are asked to contact Tribal Council’s Chief of Staff to obtain meeting recording/filming at a cost of $5 each.  Except for official recordings made by the Tribe, no  photos, audio or video recording of Council meetings will be permitted.

Land Acquisition - On January 26, 2016 the committee recommended that Tribal Council adopt a resolution 1) approving the purchase and sale agreement for acquisition of the Konzem property and authorizing the Tribal Lands Department Manager to complete the purchase upon the terms presented; and 2) authorizing the Tribal Council Chairman, or in his absence the Tribal Council Vice Chairman to execute any additional documents necessary to complete the acquisition.

Hotel Occupancy Tax Ordinance Amendments (1st Reading) - On January 26, 2016 the committee recommended that Tribal Council move forward with a first reading of the proposed amendments to the Hotel Occupancy Tax Ordinance. The proposed amendments include increasing the tax imposed on use and occupancy of rooms from 8% to 10% and other technical and formatting amendments.

Convert GRTHA Bank Accounts to Tribal Accounts and Appoint Authorized Signers - On January 26, 2016 the committee recommended that Tribal Council adopt a resolution 1) authorizing the Tribe’s Finance Office to take all actions necessary to convert the Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority bank accounts to Tribal bank accounts; and 2) Appoint authorized signers for such accounts.

Authorizing the Tribe’s Finance Officer to take all actions necessary to convert Joani Dugger’s Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority credit card to a Tribal credit card for use as a method of payment for business related expenses directed by the Housing Department Manager with vendors who do not accept Tribal purchase orders, subject to the Tribe’s employee credit card policy.

Convert GRTHA Credit Card Account to Tribal Credit Card Account (Lonnie Leno) –On January 26, 2016 the committee recommended that Tribal Council adopt a resolution authorizing the Tribe’s Finance Officer to take all actions necessary to convert Lonnie Leno’s Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority credit card to a Tribal credit card for use as a method of payment for emergency services and materials and other urgent maintenance needs for the Housing Department, subject to the Tribe’s employee credit card policy.

Tribal Credit Card Authorization (Jake McKnight) - On January 26, 2016 the committee recommended that Tribal Council adopt a resolution authorizing Jake McKnight the use of a Tribal credit card in the performance of his duties as Chief of Police, subject to the Tribe’s employee credit card policies and procedures.

Full Gospel Lighthouse Recovery Services Agreement - On February 02, 2016 the Committee recommended that Tribal Council adopt a resolution to sign a license agreement with Full Gospel Lighthouse Recovery Services to occupy space in the Chachalu building, the license will expire on December 01, 2016.

Marion Polk Food Share Contract - On February 02, 2016 the Committee recommended that Tribal Council move approving a two-year agreement between the Tribe and Marion Polk Food Share for the operation of the Grand Ronde Food Pantry and other community food related services and authorizing the Chief of Staff to finalize and execute the agreement and other related documents as may be necessary in the performance of the contract.

Appointment of Authorized Signer for Tribal Bank Accounts - On February 02, 2016 the Committee recommended that Tribal Council adopt a resolution: 1) authorizing Dave Fullerton as a signer for the Tribe’s bank, sweep and investment accounts; 2) authorizing Stacia Martin as a signer for the Tribe’s bank, sweep and investment accounts; and 3) removing Dawn Doar from all lists of authorized check signers.

Tribal Police Intergovernmental Agreements  - On February 02, 2016 the Committee recommended that Tribal Council adopt a resolution authorizing the General Manager, for the 2016 calendar year, to enter into intergovernmental agreements and memoranda of understanding involving operation of the Tribal Police Department, including but not limited to: mutual aid agreements, deadly force plans, radio use, dispatch and communication agreements, jailing agreements, prosecution protocols, and records and evidence retention agreement.

Enrollment Infant Determinations –On February 02, 2016 the Committee recommended that Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving Tribal membership for infant(s) numbered 6356 through 6358 because based on the investigation and recommendation of the Enrollment Staff, the minor(s) meet(s) the enrollment requirements under the Constitution and Enrollment Ordinance.
