• The Tribal Council meetings are intended to be safe venues in which Tribal members, community members and guests can share their ideas, thoughts, and concerns. Please  be courteous and respectful to all speakers.
• Official recordings of Council meetings (indicating whether or not they have been edited) will be made available to Grand Ronde Tribal members upon request.  Members  are asked to contact Tribal Council’s Chief of Staff to obtain meeting recording/filming at a cost of $5 each.  Except for official recordings made by the Tribe, no  photos, audio or video recording of Council meetings will be permitted.

1. Items of Consent from the Legislative Action Committee
a. Public Records Ordinance – first reading
Date: 11-01-16  Present: 8 of 9  Recommendations: 8 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council move forward with a first reading of the amendments to the Public Records Ordinance.  The purpose of the proposed amendments  is to better define which records are and are not available for viewing, declassification of certain records after 15 years, and other housekeeping revisions.

b. General Council Ordinance – first reading
Date: 11-01-16  Present: 8 of 9  Recommendations: 8 yes
The Committee recommends the Tribal Council move forward with a first reading of the newly proposed General Council Ordinance.  The purpose of the proposed ordinance is  to set forth uniform policies and procedures to carry out powers of the General Council and to facilitate orderly and productive meetings.
