• The Tribal Council meetings are intended to be safe venues in which Tribal members, community members and guests can share their ideas, thoughts, and concerns. Please be courteous and respectful to all speakers.
• Official recordings of Council meetings (indicating whether or not they have been edited) will be made available to Grand Ronde Tribal members upon request.  Members are asked to contact Tribal Council’s Chief of Staff to obtain meeting recording/filming at a cost of $5 each.  Except for official recordings made by the Tribe, no photos, audio or video recording of Council meetings will be permitted.

1. Items of Consent from the Legislative Action Legislative Action Committee
a. Tribal Transportation Program Reference Funding Agreement – resolution
Date: 07-11-17  Present: 8 of 9  Recommendation: 8 yes
The Legislative Action Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution to approve the Tribal Transportation Program Referenced Funding Agreement between the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs, and authorize the General Manager to sign all necessary agreements and contracts for the Tribal Transportation Program on behalf of the Tribe.

b. 2017 Right of Way Logging Unit – resolution

The Legislative Action Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving the 2017 Right of Way (ROW) Logging Unit timber sale as presented by Natural Resources staff and detailed in the attached Tribal Resolution.

a. SMGI Board of Directors Re-Appointment – resolution

The Legislative Action Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution re-appointing Reynold L. Leno to the Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc. Board of Directors for a three-year term ending June 30, 2020.

b. SMGI Board of Directors Re-Appointment – resolution
Date: 07-11-17  Present: 7 of 9  Recommendation: 6 yes 1 no
The Legislative Action Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution re-appointing April Campbell to the Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc. Board of Directors for a three-year term ending June 30, 2020.

c. Enrollment Non-Infant Determinations – resolution
Date: 07-11-17  Present: 6 of 9  Recommendation: 6 yes
The Legislative Action Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving the Tribal membership of individuals numbered #6463 through #6474, because, based on the recommendation of the Enrollment Board, the individuals meet the requirements of the Tribal Constitution and Enrollment Ordinance.

d. Enrollment Non-Infant Determination – resolution
Date: 07-11-17  Present: 6 of 9  Recommendation: 6 yes
The Legislative Action Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving the Tribal membership of individual numbered #1108, because, based on the recommendation of the Enrollment Board, the individual meets the requirements of the Tribal Constitution and Enrollment Ordinance.


e. Enrollment Infant Determinations – resolution
Date: 07-11-17  Present: 6 of 9  Recommendation: 6 yes
The Legislative Action Committee recommends the Tribal Council adopt a resolution approving three (3) infants numbered #6475 through #6477 for Tribal membership, because, based on the investigation and recommendation of the Enrollment staff, the infants have been found to meet the eligibility requirements for enrollment as defined in the Tribal Constitution and Enrollment Ordinance.
