NATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
For the safety of our employees, entrance to the Natural Resources Department (NRD) is limited to employees of Natural Resources. For CTGR employees, Tribal Members, and members of the public wishing to obtain service from NRD we have developed the following ways to serve you without leaving the comforts of your home, office, or car.
- Call us: 503-879-2424 OR 503-879-2376. We would love to hear from you.
- Not in the talking mood: email at NRD@grandronde.org
- Do not have the time to draft that email: Fax is always an option 503-879-5622.
During phase one, the NRD will continue to issue permits electronically. Please call 503-879-2424 or email us to inquire about receiving a permit. Please be prepared to provide the usual and customary information along with a preferred email address. The permit will need to be accessible during the gathering. The NRD issues permits to Grand Ronde Tribal Members for firewood, greenery, NW Forestry passes, and camping at Big Buck.
HUNTING & FISHING LICENSING - The Natural Resources Department issues Hunting and Fishing Licenses to enrolled Grand Ronde Tribal Members. We are unable to issue Hunting and Fishing Licenses for descendants.
Replacement licenses may be obtained by contacting our office in one of the methods described above. To request a replacement license, Tribal Members will be required to submit (by fax or email) the roll number and a picture of the Grand Ronde issued ID (enrollment card or equivalent). If the Tribal Member does not have a Grand Ronde enrollment card or equivalent, please contact Enrollment at 503-879-2116 and request a CIB. Once the information is received, the NRD staff will mail a reprint of the license with the picture on file.
New licenses are issued by appointment only. Tribal Members wishing to obtain a license will be required to have their temperature checked at the Governance Center on the day of the scheduled appointment. The temperature/system pass will be required before entry is made to the NRD. Upon entry of the NRD, ALL COVID19 protocols will be adhered to including sanitize, face mask, social distance, etc.
For Trask Unit Tag Applications, please return these by email or fax. Applications can be found in the current issue of Smoke Signals or can be downloaded here.
