NRD Classroom Connection

Lindsey will offer you information on what the natural resource department (NRD) is and does for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.  She will talk about current projects they are working on and discuss ways in which you can partner with the NRD to support what you are teaching in the classroom.

Presenter Bio: 

Lindsay McClary

Lindsey is currently the Restoration Ecologist/Fish & Wildlife Policy Analyst for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde’s Natural Resources Department. She is originally from Michigan but currently lives in Salem, Oregon. Lindsey is an enrolled member of the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Michigan. She went to Central Michigan University for a BAA and MAA in outdoor recreation and a minor in natural resources management. She worked seasonally for the Forest Service in Western Michigan as a biological field technician and then moved to Oregon 2009. Lindsey began working for the Tribe in a similar capacity in 2010. Since then, she worked for the Tribal Fish & Wildlife Program within the Natural Resources Department. Lindsey and her husband love spending time outdoors hiking, biking, camping, and kayaking.
