Middle School & High School Program


School Year Services

After School Program: 4:00pm - 5:00pm. - Providing cultural, health and wellness, educational, enriching activities. A healthy snack is provided. Transportation from Willamina and Sheridan public schools is available for all students enrolled in the after school program. There is limited seating. 

No-School Day Programming: 8:00am - 5:00pm. Programming will be offered on selected dates throughout the school year, when there is no school (Willamina School District). Please contact us for current dates scheduled. 


Summer Program Services

We provide a 10+ week program, held at the Youth Education facility. Students engage in enrichment, health and wellness, educational and cultural activities, as well as on and off campus field trips. The program starts in early June and finishes late August. Students completing their 5th grade school year are eligible for the 6-12 summer program. 


Application Process

Eligibility - Native youth who are currently in or entering 6th through 12th grade in Willamina or Sheridan (FCS and/or SJS) are eligible to apply for the program. 

Priority Tier List 
  1. Enrolled Grand Ronde Tribal Members.
  2. CTGR direct descendants (parent or grandparent is enrolled in the Grand Ronde Tribe).
  3. Enrolled members of other federally-recognized Native American tribes.
  4. Non-Native siblings within a Native family.


Enrollment Process

The Middle & High School Program requires students to have a completed annual application on file. The application is released in July. The application will be valid for the upcoming school year through the following summer. No School Day, Spring Break and other summer programming have specific sign up dates and sign-up process. No-School day programming generally have specific deadlines and are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Morning and afternoon snacks and a healthy lunch is provided. Students completing their 5th grade school year are eligible for the Middle & High School Program.

Sign-ups for major camps and selected day activities begin in April.

Mandatory orientation for incoming 6th graders in May.

Program begins in early June and finishes in late August
