Veteran’s Disability and Tribal Supplemental Security Income and Disability 

Recently, Tribal Council approved a 5.9% increase to the Veteran’s Disability Program and the Non-Elder Tribal Supplemental Security Income and Disability programs. These increases reflect a cost-of-living adjustment that will raise the monthly payment from $816.00 to $864.14 and will go into effect at the beginning of April.

We hope that this change, will help offset the increases we all see in our day-to-day lives. Moving forward, Tribal Council will review these programs on a regular basis and will consider additional increases as part of the Tribe’s regular budgeting process.
