We are currently accepting volunteers to join our team at Grand Ronde Tribal Emergency Services. This is a fun and exciting way to be involved with the fire service, and give back to the community. Positions available are Firefighter, EMS, and Support Staff to include Water Tender Operator and other support functions. Please see the provided link(s) for application and general job description.

Staffed 24/7 with one ambulance and one engine company. If needed, the engine company could be split to staff an additional ambulance.


Station 28 – 825 N Main St. Willamina, OR 97396

Staffed 24/7 by contract for West Valley Fire District with one ambulance and one engine company.


Services Provided

Fire suppression and prevention, emergency medical services, community education and engagement, emergency preparedness activities, emergency planning and coordination, and volunteer programs.

There are accessories available to mount the sign through the above website, as well. We encourage these signs to be placed at the entrance of your driveway, where it can be seen from the roadway in both directions. Please remember that in some locations, multiple signs may be needed if the driveway branches off from the main driveway off the road.


 

FireMed Memberships

Membership offers peace of mind for unexpected emergency transport expenses. Benefits cover you, your spouse or domestic partner, and dependents claimed on your income tax return. If transported, we simply bill your insurance. Once insurance payment has been issued, your FireMed Membership covers the remaining portion of the transport fees.

Membership fees help enhance EMS services in your area. Thank you for supporting your local EMS agency.

Burning Notice - Open Burning Seasons

Our fire district choose to follow regional burning regulations established by Oregon Department of Forestry and the Department of Environmental Quality. 

  • Backyard burning - Allocated for two seasons (Spring and Fall)
  • Spring burn season: March 1st to June 15th
  • Fall burn season: October 1st to December 15th

Exceptions: Burn season may be closed on any given day during the season, due to weather or air quality issues.  Individuals are required to check the appropriate burn line on a day-to-day basis.
