Language Education Building Project Comments Requested

The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde requests comments on two federal grant projects.

1. HUD Indian Community Development Block Grant Language Education Building.

Working with MCA Architects the Tribe has prepared a schematic design for the proposed building floor plan.  The Tribe is taking comments on the design. This new building is set to be built behind the Adult Education building on Salmon way.

2. Administration for Native Americans (ANA) Language immersion grant application.

The Tribe's Education Department is proposing a five year application to hire and train a Immersion Teacher and a new Assistant Teacher and to prepare curriculum in Chinuk to use with the new Language Education Building now in development.
