Federal Indian Policy

This workshop will explore the relationship between the Federal Government and Native Tribes in the United States. Understanding this relationship will provide a historical context for a better understanding of the complexities of having sovereign nations residing within the physical boundaries of the United States. 

Presenter Bio:

Angela Fasana

Angela is currently the Education Department Manager for Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. She is a Grand Ronde tribal member, and she grew up in the surrounding community. She currently lives in Willamina, Oregon. Angela has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Portland State University and a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark.

Angela loves spending time with family, camping, sewing, and puzzles.
